Synopsis:
The time is the '90s ? the 1590s. Brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are
desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that
Renaissance rockstar known as The Bard. When a local soothsayer foretells
that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the
same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first
musical!

時は90年代、といっても16世紀！
ヒット作にめぐまれずシェイクスピアにおされ気味になっている主人公たちは、
占い師にシェイクスピアが将来書く作品を予知してもらい、それを盗んじゃおうと
します。そして降りてきた作品名が「Omulet」。まあ予知なんてそんなもの♪
そして歌とダンスと芝居を同時に楽しめる作品が未来の劇場を制覇すると占われて
史上初のみゅーーーじかるを作ろうとします。もちろんタイトルは「Omulet」

いやあばかばかしくておかしい。ミュージカルマニアのためのミュージカルです。
いたるところでどっかんどっかん受けてました。今年度ショーストップのナンバーが
あったのはこのショーだけ！涙流しながら笑って拍手してましたよ。
本歌取りが多数、曲にダンスに台詞、タイトルもいれこんで、いったいいくつネタ
を投下すれば気が済むのだといわんばかりのてんこもり。それをまたシェイクスピア
が偵察に来て、、、
最後は裁判で偽判事ｗ、シェイクスピアが援軍に出てきて米国島流しで手打ち。
fobidden broadway をオンで堂々とやったらこうなりましたという感じでしょうか。
カーテンコールはもちろん、全員総立ち。
すっごく楽しくて劇場を出たとたんに全部忘れてしまう、という娯楽作品を王道で行く
ようなショーでした。もう一度見たかったのだけれど、最終日の日曜が休演で涙。。
